Mavin Record label is one of the top record labels in Nigeria, and it was founded by music producer and singer known as Don Jazzy.

The new artist signed to Mavins by Don Jazzy is a talented and multi-dimensional female song writer and rapper who goes by the name Lifesize Teddy. Lifesize Teddy was born Treasure Apiafi Banigo in 2002 and she hails from the southern part of the country, precisely Bonny Island in Rivers State.

Lifesize began rapping at a very tender age, and she attended her primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in her state, Rivers State of Nigeria.

After being signed to Mavin Records, the Bonny Island indigene dropped an EP as her debut and she simply self titles it as ‘Lifesize Teddy’. The EP includes tracks like “Butterflies”, “Hypnotic’, “Air”, “John Wick”, “Prophecy” and “30 Seconds”.

1. Rema.

Rema was born Divine Kubor on May 1, 200 in Benin City, which is the capital oof Edo State in Nigeria and he was signed to Mavin Records in 2019 by Don Jazzy.

Before joining Mavin Records, Rema was signed to Jonzing World, a record label owned and managed by Don Jazzy’s junior brother, D’Prince.

After being signed to Mavins, Rema dropped the hit single titled “Dumebi’ which turned out to be a success. And he has other successful songs which some includes “Soundgasm”, “Charm”, and one of the top chat-breaking single known as “Calm Down”.

2. Ayraa Star.

Ayraa Star is a female artists signed to Mavin Records by Don Jazzy in 20020, and she was born Oyinkansola Aderibigbe in 14th of June 2002.

She caught the attention of Don Jazzy after she was able to record and post song covers on her Instagram page.

After being signed to Mavin Records, she released her debut single which was titled “Away”. After the success of her single Away, Ayraa Star will move on to release oother hit songs like “Bloody Samaritan”.

3. Magixx.

Alexander Adelabu who is professionally known as Magixx was born on 27th September, 1999 and in 2021 he was signed to Mavin Records by Don Jazzy.

Magixx studied Mass Communication at the University of Lagos, UNILAG and he came into limelight with the hit song “Love Don’t Cost A Dime”.

4. Johnny Drile.

Real name John Ighodaro and musically known as Johnny Drile was born in July 5, 1990 and in February 2017 he was signed to Mavin Records by it’s CCEO Don Jazzy.

He has to his credit songs like “Halleluuyya”, “Romeo And Juliet”,, and the top-charting song “How Are You My Friend”.

5. Ladipoe.

Born on 29th April 1992, Ladipo Eso,, who is musicall known as Ladipoe was signed to Mavin Records in 2017 and he is the first rapper to join the record label.

Some of his noteable songs are: “Know You”,, “Big Energy” and ‘FFeeling”.

6. Di’Ja.

In 2014, Hadiza Blell, known by her stage name Di’ja joined the Mavin Record label, and before then she had released some singles and won several awards in the Nigerian music industry.

She has the hit song titled “Awww” to her credit.

7. Bayanni.

Bayanni who goes by the real name Abimbola Oladokun, was unveiled as a Mavin Record artists in 2022.

Bayanni was born on 25th June 1997 in Lagos State of Nigeria where she grew and attended her education with his siblings.

Bayanni has hit songs like “Family” “Body” and “Ta ta ta”- which he used to earn a remix with American singer Jason Durelo.

8. Boy Spice.

Born on 10 May 2001 in Edo State of Nigeria, Boy Spyce began his musical journey by posting covers on social media accounts, precisely Instagram.

According to history, Kizz Daniel posted one of Boy Spice cover and this caught the attention of Don Jazzy who did not waste time to sign him to Mavin Records.

9. Crayon.

Crayon was born on 21st November, 2000 and got signed to Mavin Records in 2019.BBefore he joined Mavin Records, Crayone was originally signed to “Blowtime Entertainment which is an imprint of Mavin Records.

He is known for his hit song “Ijo Laba laba”
