Empire Distribution is an independent music distributor, record label and music publishing company which was founded in 2010 and has it’s headquarters in San Francisco.

This record company had played a key role in launching the career of so many artists across the whole world, and in this post we are going to take a brief loo at artists who are under Empire Distribution.

But before we do so, it is worth noting that this record label is led by it’s CEO and founder, Ghazi Shami and in September 2019, it launched its first Nashville division, which saw Eric Hurt being hired as the Vice President of A&R.

Before joining EMPIRE, Eric Hurt was the Senior Director of Creative for Black River Entertainment, where he played a major role in publishing a catalog that boasts more than 20 No.1 hits.

While discussing Empire’s Nashville expansion at the time, Ghazi Shami maintained that: “EMPIRE is built on culture and authenticity. As we expand into Country music, we believe Eric fits our company ethos and is an integral part of Nashville’s vibrant music industry.
