On the 1st January, 2020, Zlatan took to his Instagram handle to announce the launch of his record label known as ‘Zanku Records’, but the saddest part was that he never mentioned any artist that was signed to the record label.
But on February 25, while celebrating his birthday he announced the numbers and names of acts he has so far signed to Zanku Records.
In this article therefore, we are going to take a look at all the artists who are under Zanku Records, but before we do so let us take a look who is the owner of Zanku Records.
Who is the owner of Zanku Records?
The owner of Zanku Records is Zlatan Ibile who was born as Omoniyi Temidayo on the 19th of December 1994 in Ikorodu, Lagos State, and according to Wikipedia he has family roots in Ijurin, Ekiti State.
Zlatan’s musical career began to see the light of day when in In 2014, he won the Airtel-sponsored One Mic talent show that was held in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
By the end of 2018, Zlatan had released a single which he titled “Zanku”, which featured a new dance style that portrayed the same name. His debut studio album was released on 3 November 2019, and it is wortth noting that the term Zanku is an acronym for “Zlatan Abeg No Kill Us”.

The artists under Zanku Records as revealed by the label’s CEO Zlatan are Papisnoop, Oberz and Jamopyper.
Zlatan made this announcement during the official signing of a Videographer/Cinematographer named Visionary Pictures, his Manager ‘Manager Jiggy’, his Music Producer Rexxie and a PR Consultant ‘Biesloaded’.
The picture he uploaded on his Instagram page under this announcement reveals him and seven other people.
1. Papisnoop.
Papisnoop was born Ibrahim Oladapo Lawal on March 21, 1998, and he attended Olabisi Onabanjo University. He came to limelight after he did a cover to the song Panda which is originally owned by Designer.
According to rumor’s, Papisnoop has been said to be a close friend of Zlatan even before he joined the record label.
Papisnoop has recorded hit songs like: “If To Say”, “Pay Her Money”, “Invoice” etc.
2. Oberz.
Oberz was born Oni Olayinka on 5th October 1995 and he hails from Ogun State in Nigeria, but has spend most of his life in Lagos State.
Oberz officially began his music career in 2019 when he released his debut single titled “Suffer”. And ever since the success of this debut single, Oberz has made a significant progress in the music industry by featuring several artists including his label’s CEO Zlatan on his hit song titled “Unripe Paw Paw”.
He was signed to Zanku records in 2020 alongside other two label mates Papisnoop and Jamopyper.
3. Jamopyper.
Jamopyper was born Jamiu Damilare Tajudeen on the 25th of October 1995 and he signed a record deal with Zlatan ibile on “Zanku Records in 2020 and was nominated for Rookie of Year at The Headies the same year.
Although Jamopyper wanted to become a mechanical engineer as a young boy, he developed his interest in the music business at age 12 when he began to perform in small gatherings to entertain people.
He would later break into the music industry in the year 2018 when he dropped his debut single titled Omode Meta, which he featured Zlatan and Naira Marley. The same year he followed up with anither single titled Josi” which he featured Zlatan and Chinko Ekun.
While launching Zanku records in 2020, Zlatan mentioned him and two others, Papisnoop and Oberz as the artists under Zanku Records.
