There is an ongoing rumor that Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter who goes by the name Shallipopi has left has terminated his contract with this record label, Dapper music.

Is Shallipopi under Dapper Music?
Crown Uzama who is musically known as Shallipopi is no onger under Dapper Music, the artist took to social media in December 2024 to announce his exit from the record label.
He cited so many reasons for leaving the record label and all of them seems to center on the fact that the record label have mismanaged his finances and he no longer trust them to be the sailor of his musical career.
The accusations Shallipopi threw at his label includes the following:
- Financial exploits.
- Tricking him into signing what he calls a “forever deal”
- Deceiving him to sign a distribution deal with Dvpper Digital Limited, another company owned by the same people
- Putting the label’s profit over the growth and stability of his musical career.
Meanwhile Dapper music has clearly denied the above accusations on the grounds that they are their business practices and the artist is supposed to pledge his legal cooperation.
Who is Shallipopi?
Born on April 12th 2000, Shallipopi, whose real name is Crown Uzama is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter.
He made his entrance into the limelight of the Nigerian music industry when he released his hit single titled “Elon Musk” in 2023.
He immediatly followed up the single with an EP which he titled Planet Pluto in the same year.
