Nigerian street singer Balogun Afolabi Oluwaloseyi who is musically known as Seyi Vibez has ended his contract with his record label, Dapper Music & Entertainment.
It is also alleged that the singer went has unfollowed his record label’s boss Damilola Akinwunmi popularly known as dapper.
According to a source from Dapper who chooses to remain anonymous, they are waiting for Seyi Vibez to return to the country so they could all sit don and resolve the issue on ground.
He said “We are waiting for his arrival in Nigeria though, maybe dapper can now use his family or close friends to appeal to him.
“But he really messed up things for dapper management by canceling all shows in Canada,” the source said.
Seyi Vibes alongside Shallipopi and Muyeez have all complained they are yet to receive 1 naira from music streams even with millions of streams they’ve got from streaming platforms.
Dapper music made these Artistes release a lot of projects within a short time frame. Shallipopi blew up in 2023 but he has 2 albums already, with an EP and other released singles.
Seyi vibes in the other hand has not made up to 3yrs in the game but he has released 3 albums and 2 EPs.
Muyeez, who’s still finding his sound has dropped 3 EPs under the label.
All these projects went number 1 on either apple music & Spotify Nigeria and the Artistes have not made anything from streams.
