Native records is a record label in Nigeria founded in 2022 by the Nigerian music magazine, The Native, as a division of the Native Network, and on September 2022, the label signed a partnership with the multinbational record label known as Def Jam records with the aim of signing and developing artists in Africa and is diaspora.
In this post we are going to take a look at all the members of the Native record label, starting from its CEO to the artists who are currently signed to the label.

The current members of the Native record label in Nigeria are Teezee, Sholz, Smada and Odumodublvck.
1. Teezee.
TTeezee was born Teni Zaccheaus JR on June 27 and he is an English-Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter and record label executive. He is part of the musical group known as DRB Lasgidi, which also has BOJ and Fresh L as the other two members.
Teezee is currently the co-president of Native records as well as the co-founder of the Native Networks.
He began his musical career in 2007 by joining the group DRB Lasgidi and in 2013 he dropped a solo project which he titled: Fresh Prince of LasGidi. He is best regarded as one of Nigeria’s first generations of artists to take advantage of the internet services to self-publish their body of work to become successful.
2. Sholz.
Sholz is a creative entrepreneur, DJ and music producer who is a very active force in the Nigerian music industry with a wealth of experience. He has spent his musical career bridging the gap between Nigeria and her diaspora. He is a co-founder of The NATIVE Networks in 2016, which launched NATIVE Sound System as a co-DJÂ in 2019 and inked a first-of-its-kind joint venture deal with DefJam Recordings for the new enterprise NATIVE Records last year in 2022.
3. Smada
Smada was born Adams Olabode Michael and he is a Nigerian singer and sobgwriter who is currently signed to Native record label.
He began his musical career in 2021 when he dropped his EP titled NUNIVERSE, and tthe body of work had a hit single titled “Family”.
In 2022 he would go on to drop a breakthrough single with Native records titled “Ye Anthem”.
4. Odumodublvck.
Odumodublvck was born Tochukwu Gbubemi Ojogwu on October 19, 1993, and he is a Nigerian rapper, singer and songwriter is known for his stage performances, genre-blend and always wearing the Okpu Agu cap.
He is currently signed to the Native record label and is also a member of the hip hop collective group known as the Anti World Gangstars. He currently lives in Abuja, the federal capital territory of Nigeria where he relocated to with his family at the age of seven.
Odumodublvck began his musical ccareer on 26th March 2022 when he performed at the Jameson Connects in Abuja alongside fellow Nigerian artists DRB LasGidi, and Victony. Later on the same year, Odumodubvck will go on to release a joint studio album titled The Drop with B.O.C Madaki.
