Gospel Singer, Judikay Drags Her Record Label To Court.

Nigerian giospel singer, Judith Kanayo, who is musically known as Judikay has dragged the owner of her record label, Ezekiel ThankGod to court for allegedly diverting $264,000 belonging to her.

Ezekiel, a.k.a Eezee Tee, is the CEO and founder of a gospel record label in Nigeria known as EeZee Concept.

A report by concluded by an independent audit firm, Person Consulting, confirms that a total of $264,000 generated from various streaming and social media platforms, which includes YouTube, were not remited to singer JudiKay by EeZee Concept.

This report was forwarded to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and EeZee Tee was charged to court on three counts.

Charge one accuses EeZee Tee Global Concepts Limited of retaining $264,494 said to be the property of Judith Kanayo (JudiKay) and Mercy Chinwo, an offence contrary to Section 18(2)(d) and puishable under section 18 (3) of the of Money Laundering (Prevention and Prohibition) Act, 2022.

The case is currently before the Federal High Court of Nigeria awaiting the appropriate judgement.
