Nigerian afrobeats heavyweight and African giant, Burna Boy was among the superstar musicians who performed at the Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes 2025, a charity event which was held at Paris La Défense Arena on January 23, 2025.
Being the third edition, the gala featured sevveral artists on the line-up which included Katy Perry, Gims, John Legend, Rosé, J-Hope, G-Dragon, amongst many.
The arena is familiar with Burna Boy who previously sold out the 40,00 capacity Arena.
At the concert, Burna Boy dazzled the crowd as he performed several of his hit singles.
2025 has had a good start for the Grammy award winner who recently earned a nomination for the iHeartradio Music Awards, and he is also eyeing another award in February this year where he will be competing alongside other Nigerian artists in the Best African Music Performance category.
While Burna did not release much songs in the previous year, 2024, he still kept his superstar status when he was declared the most exported Nigerian artist on Spotify.
He brought the year to a close by releasing a hit single titled ‘Bundle By Bundle’Â which sets the tone for what is expected to be a busy 2025 for the superstar.
The single which preceded his earlier release ‘Higher’ will be included in his upcoming album, ‘No Sign of Weakness’ scheduled for release later in the year.
