Wizkid’s 6th studio album “Morayo” has made history as it becomes the first album to have all it’s tracks peaked on the Billboard Afrobeats chart for eight consecutive feats.
This major landmark feat was made possible after all the 16 tracks on the album maintained their positition on the chart for the tracking week of January 25, 2025.
The leading track on the album is ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring Brent Faiyaz  ‘Morayo’ as it charts at NO. 5 while ‘Lose’ rounds off the historic feat with a NO. 45 entry.
Here is another notable break-through for the Morayo album which has set multiple records including the biggest first-week streams on Spotify Nigeria.
Other records set by this album also includes being the first album to have all it’s track garnering at least 500,000 opening day streams on Spotify Nigeria.
Morayo was released on November 22, 2024 and it preceded the release of the singles ‘Piece of My Heart’ featuring American singer Brent Faiyaz.Â
The album Morayo also had guest features from Asake, Asake, Jasmine Sulivan, Tiakola, and Anais Cardot.
The Nigerian ggrammy award winner has performed songs from the album severally at events both in Nigeria and overseas including the Oando End of the Year Party where he performed alongside Davido and Burna Boy.
After the release of this project, Wizkid gave a glue that he will be hitting the ground running with yet another album in 2025 and the Wizkid FC are keeping their fingers crossed for when this banger is going to drop so they could enjoy their favorite artist songs.
